Then I am reminded of how the vatican snubbed the genius, the spirit, the outstretched hand, the Eldership, the work of the 13 Indigenous Grandmothers (see "The Next 7 Generations" documentary) who wanted the vatican to rescind the vicious papal bull "reducing" the indigenous people of Turtle Island and beyond into servitude. Makes sense, right? And I am recently reminded of the insult to injury handed down to indigenous traditions in a current interfaith initiative in New Hampshire revealing the updated legacy of disrespect and arrogance with fresh biblical imprimatur.
christians can not take the moral and ethical high road until they can first dig themselves from the rubble of their own internal contradictions (intra and inter-denominationally) and then humbly make the case for how a 2000 year old perspective trumps (perfect reference here) a 3 million year old human tradition or, at the very least, what it has to add, humbly again, to the progressive forward movement of humanity.
Why were the cross and the sword such good traveling companions? Why does the christian soldier not see itself clearly, cut off at the knees by its own bloodied weapon?
Do not dare dream to hear my confession, as if I could ever reach absolution by the wave of a hand steeped in a legacy of unrepentant spiritual corruption and decadence.

...so then why do we hear from so many christians that THEY will be saved while others will be left behind in the "rapture" or so-called "end times"? This clearly states that G-O-D's love is intrinsically defined by "his" barriers....at least as applied by christians.

As Went Rome, So the vatican?
If roman catholicism and christianity in general are diametrically opposed to the presence and engagement of evil then the very physical foundation of the Vatican, the actual material configuration of that entity should be destroyed and submerged (buried, offered back to the earth) as the creation of the Vatican's opulence was done so during one of the most directly, abjectly, overtly corrupt, criminal, debauched and oppressive history of the roman catholic church's corporatocracy.
How can that particular church claim integrity when it houses itself, bases itself in the building whose foundation is built on stolen property, exploited natural resources and the lives and blood of millions of indigenous people?
How can the vatican's foundations not crumble to the earth under the weight of it's own unreconciled energetic shadow self?
